o Supported content authors in creating newly designed pages in CQ. Conducted regular refresher
courses for authoring best practices and address any CQ specific issues.
· 16 WCM products were evaluated as a part of this project. Only 2 were selected for POC to evaluate their
infrastructure compatibility, architectural considerations, usability fit, and operational fit. I was responsible
for selecting the product which met the client’s requirements from usability perspective.
· Devised a unique process to evaluate the shortlisted products. It included, creating a set of use cases in
such a way that the products can be compared with each other over common features as well as exhibit
the “cool” features specific to each of them. They were categorized under broad WCM functionalities like
User Management, DAM, Workflow, Authoring etc.
· After careful study, I selected a set of 50 evaluators from a diverse set of stakeholders and also included a
few volunteer.
· The evaluation was done based on three quantifiable factors viz. Ease of Use, Speed of Use and Frequency
of feature usage. I also considered Subjective Opinion as an additional factor for each use case.
· The results were quantified on a scale of 1-4. I made use a forced-choice response scale with an even
number of responses and no middle neutral or undecided choice. In this situation, the respondent was
forced to decide whether they lean more towards the positive or negative end of the scale for each item.
· Weighted average scoring method for opted to consolidate the results across the categories. I contributed
in creating a dedicated tool to consolidate and present the results. The response from evaluators was fed
to the tool and it was designed to pick category winners and gave verdict for each of those categories as
well as an overall verdict.
· The entire process was documented and was used as a benchmark for system evaluation projects across
the organization.
Project: TSS End of Life - Business Analyst
(Jan 2011 – Mar 2011)
· The project involved migrating and merging an obsolete content repository into a new repository. I wrote
the Functional Requirement Document (FRD) for the migrating repository in order to match the
functionality of the recipient repository.
